The written exam of ‘ SSC stenographers ( C & D grade ) was held on 29th July, 2012 ; The exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of various state government departments . Staff selection commission will declare the results very soon; May be in just one month .
Last year SSC conducted the examination on 16.10.2011 and declared the result on 21.11.2011 .
So you may check the result page of SSC in the first week of October; Now let us talk about the cut off marks .
The cut off list will be released at a very low marks as their is a shortage of stenographers in government departments their about half posts are posts are vacant of stenos in government departments .

Grade ‘ C ‘ – 117.50 for general category, 96 for OBC
Grade ‘ D ‘ – 76.50 for general category, 56 for OBC
About 30000 candidates got selected for ‘ D ‘ grade and 2000 for ‘ C ‘ grade stenographer but as I told you only few candidates pass in the stenography test . About 650 candidates got selected for grade ‘ D ‘ and 50 for grade ‘ C ‘ finally .
So just do not worry about your written examination result and concentrate on skill test .
The final result will be declared in the month of Jan-Feb .
